Proper Care. Real Education. Lasting Conservation.
Reptiles require specialized environments — precise temperatures, humidity, lighting cycles, and diet. Improper care leads to chronic illness, shortened lives, and unnecessary suffering. Operation Reptile provides detailed species-specific care resources, hands-on workshops, and direct support for owners who want to do right by their animals. We also offer emergency intake for reptiles whose owners can no longer provide proper conditions.
Fear and misinformation are two of the biggest threats reptiles face. Through school visits, community events, and social outreach, we work to shift public perception — showing that these animals are vital parts of our ecosystem. On the conservation side, we partner with wildlife organizations to protect native habitats, oppose the illegal wildlife trade, and advocate for stronger protections for threatened species. Every informed person in our community is a win for reptiles everywhere.
How it started — and where we're going
Operation Reptile was born out of passion and a problem. After witnessing countless reptiles kept in improper conditions — the wrong enclosure sizes, no UVB lighting, incorrect temperatures — our founder knew that lack of education was the root cause. What started as a small local effort to help neighbors care for their animals quickly grew into something bigger: a community of keepers, educators, and advocates united by a shared love for reptiles.
It started with free care clinics at local pet expos. Word spread fast. People began surrendering animals they could no longer care for, trusting us to find them proper homes. Our rescue network expanded, and so did our educational reach — into schools, shelters, and online communities across the region.
Our goal is a world where no reptile suffers from preventable neglect — where every keeper has access to the knowledge they need, and where wild reptile populations are protected for future generations.
We are working toward opening a dedicated reptile sanctuary and education center — a physical space where the public can interact responsibly with ambassador animals, attend classes, and connect with a community of like-minded enthusiasts. We are also growing our conservation partnerships with wildlife agencies to fund habitat preservation both locally and abroad. Every rescue, every workshop, every adoption brings us closer to that future.
These animals are in our care and ready for a loving forever home. Each has been health-checked and housed in proper conditions.
